Now, Property Owner in Nashik can offer tenant info via mobile app

The city police on Devember 5 launched a mobile application to amenities house owners to offers knowledge about tenants.

With the new form, 'Tenant Verification System', the owners will not have to go to the police station for offering the knowledge. It will also save workload and workers of police, help tenant confirmation fast and with ease and also have the data in the digitized form and friendly. The form is available on the Google Play store.

Commissioner of police Ravinder Kumar Singal told, "We hope more men will now come forward to offer tenant knowledge. Earlier, either the police were going to the owners or the landlords were coming to the police station. Yet the tenant knowledge was not on expected lines. We believe the mobile form will get a good response as citizens can offer information from their flats."

"Some buyer are of criminal background. Therefore it is necessary that police know about them. With the new method, the knowledge of the tenant can be verified by the police. If the tenant has a criminal background, performance can be taken against him," he added.

Kovid Sawla, director of Adivid Technologies Pvt Ltd, that has developed the form, said property owners and agents can directly fill all the aspects of tenants, owner, and property, along with agent explain, if applicable, online. The applicant will receive a token number using which he/she can check the status of the form which will be updated by police."

A big number of people rent out their residential Flats without giving knowledge about the tenants to the police. Senior police leaders said they have been appealing to people to offer the knowledge. Police have also booked a few landowners for not offering tenant knowledge.
